Preparation
Along with preparing your mind by knowing The Magnificent Seven, it is very
important to prepare physically for your time here. This is a very physically
challenging camp. The training consists of a variety of drills including push
ups, sit ups, pull ups, running, and a great obstacle course. You will also
take part in archery and basic self-defense. Because of the strong emphasis on
physical training it is very helpful that each young man prepare himself through
some exercise prior to his arrival. This should include push ups, sit ups, pull
ups and running. Rope climbing would be a great asset if at all possible. It is
a good idea to toughen up the hands so that he can endure the challenges of the
obstacle course. We strongly recommend that he be involved in some consistent
exercise for at least 1 month before his time here. He will enjoy his time here
much more if he arrives in good shape.
